I&#39;ve never had okra and tomatoes before, but it sounds like something I&#39;d like to try. My 80 year old neighbor fries her home-grown okra in a cornmeal batter in the summer. That&#39;s my only experience with okra. I must say, I didn&#39;t care for it much, but that&#39;s what I thought of brussel sprouts until I learned about roasting them. I love trying new foods so I&#39;ll plan on trying this when the tomatoes start growing in the garden! Okra would be discovered after I moved to North Florida ( which is much more south, than south Florida). I have yet to prepare okra.
