I'm not really a morning person...so breakfast is usually rushed. And if it wasn't for smoothies, there probably would be no breakfast at all. Usually I make a green smoothie, but there were no greens to be found in the fridge. So this is what I came up with.
Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Smoothie
2 frozen bananas
1 cup skim milk
1 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup oats
4 tbs peanut butter
honey, to taste
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Makes 2 smoothies.
That sounds like a great breakfast to me!

ReplyDeleteAw, I used to make smoothies all the time..back in the day when I had the time to properly take care of myself!! But this actually made me think I could be doing this for my son and he would just think it was a milkshake...even if he does love everything inside. I'm gonna do this, Bo. Thanks for the idea!,
